Mullewa is getting ready to welcome flower lovers from near and far as the much-anticipated wildflower season draws near.

Famous for its stunning displays of native blooms, Mullewa and the surrounding area are set to once again showcase the spectacular natural beauty of the region.

少妇免费直播 Mayor Jerry Clune shared his excitement about the season ahead.

“Mullewa’s wildflowers are truly a sight to behold, and thanks to the plentiful rainfall this year, we’re expecting an exceptional display,” he said.

“If you make the effort to see them each season or have never enjoyed the magic of the Midwest’s wildflower season, this is the perfect year to make the journey.

“I’m especially excited for the Mullewa Agricultural Show this year which will have free entry thanks to sponsorship from Community Bank Geraldton Bendigo Bank and will coincide with Outback Bloom Mullewa’s Wildflower Festival with both events being highlights on the Mullewa calendar and provide a great opportunity to experience the town.

“I also encourage visitors to check out Helen Ansell’s Gallery and Suzie’s Aboriginal Art Studio to view local artwork inspired by the region, additionally be sure to call into the Mullewa Community Resource Centre for the latest information about what’s happening in the area,” finished Mayor Clune.

Outback Bloom Mullewa’s Wildflower Festival will return from Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 August and feature guided wildflower walks, flower displays in the Mullewa Town Hall, painting workshops, bush tucker yarns and a photography workshop.

The Mullewa Agricultural Show will take place on Saturday 30 August at the Mullewa Recreation Ground.

Outback Bloom Wildflower Festival and the Mullewa Agricultural Show are proudly funded in part by the City’s Festival and Event Funding Program and reflects the City’s commitment to supporting Mullewa, promoting diverse tourism offerings and making Greater Geraldton a destination of choice.
